Attendees at our active learning conference at Boston University
Before a packed conference room and under a brilliant New England autumn sky, we held our active learning conference at Boston University on October 7, 2015. Nearly 90 attendees filled the room at the Boston University School of Business, Metcalf Trustee Center.
Attendees were a blend of faculty / instructors, instructional designers & curriculum developers, and university IT professionals. They were able not only “see” the Echo360 Active Learning Platform, they actually used the platform throughout the day. All of the conference sessions were presented using the technology. As a result, attendees experienced firsthand how to engage students using engagement tools and how to view and interpret the robust set of learner analytical data the system provides. The most “engaged” conference attendees, measured by the number of notes taken, questions asked, and other responses were rewarded with prizes for their participation at the end of the day.
It was a stellar day of presentations and interaction. Like all of our events, the conference highlighted the many different ways in which leading universities use Echo360 active learning technology. And the event provided an opportunity for all of the attendees to network with peers and colleagues from around the United States and Canada.
We’ll publish the conference video and presentation archive. So, be sure to check our blog for updates. Better yet, never miss an update and subscribe to our blog today! Just fill out the Subscribe to Blog Updates in the upper right corner of our blog page!
