With the vast educational resource of the internet now in most students’ pockets, universities today have an important role to play that reaches far beyond the traditional transfer of knowledge from lecturer to student.

So, are the days of the live university lecture numbered? Or has the time come for lecturers to take a fresh approach and create a much more collaborative and engaging learning experience for their students?
