Our introductory Instructor Training Webinar Series is back! We are offering another suite of webinars to help instructors use Echo360 to introduce video-based learning and enhanced learner engagement in their teaching – these will be ideal for newcomers to Echo360, or those wishing to learn something new. Through the series we will outline how to create great videos for remote and hybrid teaching, illustrate ways to increase student engagement in live and asynchronous activities, and demonstrate how to make the most of your video interaction analytics. By popular demand, we also offering four breakout session in webinar #3 to focus on how Echo360 works alongside with your specific LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, BrightSpace). In this session, attendees will be broken into breakout sessions based on the Learning Management System (LMS) you use at your your institution. These breakout sessions will be LMS-specific workshops led by some of our Echo360 experts to review options for creating, managing, editing, and publishing educational content into your course and within your LMS. We will walk you through a variety of content features that will help suit the needs of your course for your respective LMS.

In this session, Echo360 staff will demonstrate content delivery options for faculty who plan to teach both remotely and on campus in the coming academic year; this will include examples of how it is possible to deliver instruction to students in synchronous, asynchronous, and dual modality scenarios. Our experts will also provide tips on how to best capture content and live stream remotely, in addition to reviewing best practice methods for creating in-class recordings for remote learners.

Jason Gildner has spent over 15 years working at universities, most recently at Coastal Carolina University, managing audio/visual, capture, faculty education, and adoption of Echo360 and other instructional technologies within the university before joining the Echo360 team. John Couperthwaite is an education specialist at Echo360 with a focus on enhancing the educational implementation and growth of active learning in the EMEA region, covering promotions, pre-sales, training and community. The role involves collaboration with a global team on product development, strategy and support, offering valuable insights into wider educational trends and business relationships with HEIs. Previously, John worked as a learning consultant with PebblePad, and as an Educational Technology Manager for a large health-focused academic college at the University of Birmingham, providing a strategic lead for technology enhanced learning.
